Print job queue
PT-04 (macOS) · PT-W4 (Windows) · Held jobs wait for a valid xVerae- signing key. Only a final receipt is evidence — a hold id or jobId is never proof.
On the machine running the helper
verae-print pending verae-print pending --json verae-print pending --html > queue-local.html verae-print tray-status verae-print tray-status --open verae-print menubar verae-print menubar --install
Text table, JSON, HTML, tray snapshot, or a real tray/menu-bar presence (Windows NotifyIcon / macOS NSStatusItem) that polls held count + brand labels. With the helper running, open the live loopback queue:
http://127.0.0.1:8631/queue http://127.0.0.1:8631/status
GET only on the IPP loopback port — print clients still POST IPP; hold ids are never evidence.
Status labels (BrandingBook / statuslang)
| State | Label | OS notify title |
|---|---|---|
| Held / no key | Pending receipt | Sign in to finish timestamp |
| Offline queue | Queued offline | Queued offline |
| In flight | Stamped, awaiting blockchain | — |
| Failed | Failed – retrying | Failed – retrying |
| Final | Final receipt ready | Final receipt ready |
Not proof: rows in this queue (and local hold ids) only mean the PDF is saved for retry.
Evidence is the final receipt and certificate PDF after blockchain finality.
Notify titles used by Windows balloon + macOS/Linux banners:
- Sign in to finish timestamp — job held (401/403 / missing key)
- Final receipt ready — stamp succeeded; open certificate from Verae Timestamps
- Failed – retrying — non-auth error; job may retry later
