1. License

UNLICENSED — all rights reserved unless otherwise agreed in writing with Verae. Subject to this agreement, Verae grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Verae Print Stamp on Apple macOS computers you own or control, for timestamping documents with Verae.

2. What is sent to Verae

This software sends only a SHA-256 digest of your document (and related registration metadata) to Verae for timestamp registration. Document bytes remain on your computer. You are responsible for network access, account credentials (including xVerae- keys), and lawful use.

3. Accounts and keys

Signing keys and customer tokens are tied to your Verae account. Keep keys secret. Lost keys may prevent proving prior stamps. Portal: https://customer.verae.ai/portal/

4. Restrictions

Do not reverse engineer except where mandatory law allows.
Do not remove Verae branding, copyright, or product identification.
Do not use the software to infringe others’ rights or violate law.
Do not misrepresent timestamp receipts or certificate contents.

5. Ownership

The software, Verae marks, and documentation remain property of Verae and its licensors. No trademark license is granted beyond normal use of the installed product UI.

6. Disclaimer

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TIMESTAMPING DEPENDS ON NETWORK, ACCOUNT, AND UPSTREAM SERVICES.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERAE AND ITS SUPPLIERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

8. Termination

This license ends if you breach it. On termination, stop using and uninstall the software. Provisions that by nature should survive (ownership, disclaimer, liability) survive termination.
