 Advertise the Windows printer through DNS-SD and log the service. 
VeraeNetPrint had no UDP sockets because Dnscache owns port 5353 and the bind error never reached a log or the status API. Register with DnsServiceRegister first, fall back to a shared UDP socket, write %ProgramData%\Verae\logs\netprint.log, and surface mDNS errors on /api/v1/status. The installer also starts the tray for the logged-in user, and Public networks plus a local queue stay off unless opted in.

printit.verae.ai

Static site served by Caddy on 70.88.205.138 from /var/www/printit.verae.ai.

  • index.html — download page, "How it works" welcome dialog, "Learn more" FAQ.
  • img/, samples/ — screenshots and the sample receipt PDF used by the page.
  • downloads/ is not in git (162 MB of release builds); see DOWNLOADS-MANIFEST.txt for the files and checksums that were live.

Deploy: rsync -a --exclude downloads site/printit.verae.ai/ marchon@70.88.205.138:/var/www/printit.verae.ai/ (back up index.html first).
