# Contributing

This repository follows the same contributing guidelines as the main Model Context Protocol project.

## Extension-Specific Notes

- The Tasks extension specification lives in `specification/`
- Schema development and generation target `schema/draft/`
- Released schemas live in date-versioned directories under `schema/`; create them with `npm run snapshot:schema -- YYYY-MM-DD` and do not edit them afterward
- Changes should be discussed in the **Agents Working Group** prior to submission
