It has shipped. `core/mcp/import/strategies.ts` carries a `claudeDesktop` strategy that reads `claude_desktop_config.json` from the documented well-known paths and merges it in, alongside Cursor, Cline and VS Code — so listing it as a follow-up describes the spec's original scope rather than the code, and reads as a gap to anyone checking what is missing. Motivation and Context
The existing Inspector is hard to maintain for a number of reasons. We decided to create a more maintainable Inspector from the ground up, that retains the deterministic boundary of operation, but exposes a plugin architecture.
Track Protocol Conformance
- Identify any gaps in V1 inspector

- Implement to parity and fill gaps
